Daycare enrollment in Lakewood, simple and personal.
Licensing is still in progress, so Anna currently offers license-exempt care for one family at $300–$400 per week for full-time care. Other families can ask about planned openings and rates now, learn about the program, and be contacted as approvals and availability are confirmed.
Not yet. Anna’s California family child care license is in progress. While it is pending, she currently offers license-exempt care for one family, as California law allows, at $300–$400 per week for full-time care. Other families can join the interest list now for future spots once the license is approved.
The planned age range is 9 weeks through 12 years, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children. Final capacity by age group will depend on licensing and available spaces.
Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The daycare is closed Saturday and Sunday.
Healthy meals and snacks are planned for children who are old enough to receive them. Infant feeding plans and final meal policies will be reviewed with each family before enrollment.
Families should disclose allergies and dietary needs before enrollment. Anna will review ingredients, prevention steps, emergency instructions, and whether each request can be safely accommodated.
Depending on age, children may need labeled extra clothing, diapers and wipes, bottles or formula, nap items, and any authorized medication with written instructions. A final supply list will be included with enrollment paperwork.
The planned rhythm includes welcome and free play, age-appropriate learning activities, stories, art or sensory play, meals and snacks, outdoor movement, rest or quiet time, and afternoon play. Infant schedules will remain more individualized.
Children will learn through play, books, music, art, movement, sensory activities, early literacy, counting, colors, shapes, fine-motor practice, problem-solving, and social-emotional development.
Yes. Anna plans to partner with parents on a consistent, patient approach based on each child’s readiness. Families will agree on routines, language, clothing, and supplies.
Parents can expect regular information about meals, naps, toileting, activities, behavior, and anything important that happened during the day. Anna also welcomes direct questions and conversations.
Children with fever or contagious symptoms will need to remain home according to the final illness policy. If a child becomes ill during care, a parent or emergency contact will be notified promptly.
Anna intends to maintain a small-group environment for close supervision and personal attention. Exact capacity and age-group ratios will follow California licensing requirements and will be confirmed after approval.
